Fostering Your Child’s Friendships

This webinar is for parents of children ages 2-12. This webinar will cover:

  • When and how parents should be involved in their children’s friendships
  • Setting up playdates and hangouts
  • Friendship building skills and creating opportunities for your children to make friends

James S. Bates, Ph.D. is an associate professor and Ohio State University Extension field specialist of family wellness. He teaches parents around the state how to raise healthy and happy kids with research-based techniques. He’s taught these topics in virtual settings, at afterschool parent meetings, to incarcerated moms, a public library, parent conferences, at an inner-city school, and as lunch ‘n’ learns.
