Get Moving For Mental Well-Being

June 14 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am

Many of us know how exercise can benefit our muscles, bone density, and heart health. Exercise also contributes to a variety of mental health benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety as well as improving focus, energy, mood, and creativity. Join OSU health coaches Amanda and Alison in this four-week series to do a deeper dive into this mind-body connection, where you will:

  • Learn about how exercise can improve stress, mental health, and help prevent cognitive decline
  • Enjoy an active break with a movement demo in each session
  • Receive resources and support towards trying new things in physical activity and mental well-being

This four-session series meets every other Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM on the following dates: 6/14, 6/28, 7/12 & 7/26. The health coaches will send new movements to try by email in the weeks in-between live sessions (on 6/21, 7/5 & 7/19). Participants are encouraged to track their intentional movements and any mental well-being benefits they observes to discuss with the group during the live meetings!

NOTE: You will be automatically enrolled for all four sessions when you register for the first session.
