Lunch & Learn: Transitioning Back To School - Your Plan for Health
Lunch & Learn: Transitioning Back To School
July 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The post-pandemic return to school and work may be a significant source of anxiety for families and young children. In this session, Anneliese Johnson, M.S., will discuss strategies to alleviate anxiety and prepare young children and families for the return or transition to preschool and elementary school in the fall. How to make back-to-school plans, communicate new information and answer questions age-appropriately with young children will be reviewed. We will also examine ways to set limits and encourage follow-through with young children as more structure returns to daily activities and family life returns. Viewers will be submitting questions for the Q&A session at the end of the program by typing them into the chat box.
