Summit On Promoting Well-Being & Resilience In Healthcare Professionals
October 21 - October 23
The Ohio State University will host the 2nd biennial National Summit on Promoting Well-Being and Resilience in Healthcare Professionals on October 21-23, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio. The focus of this national conference will be on enhancing well-being and resilience as well as healthy lifestyle behaviors in clinicians and health sciences students. The summit will convene healthcare leaders and clinicians from across disciplines to share their best and latest evidence-based practices in improving self-care, which in turn will transform healthcare.
For this year’s virtual summit, we are partnering with local expert Mills James to translate our content into a user-friendly, seamless virtual environment. As we lower the price of registration and extend potential accessibility into homes and workplaces across the country, please encourage your colleagues who may not originally have been able to attend in-person to join us and engage in our summit. We offer thought-provoking and inspirational content from national experts, interactive workshops focused on wellness and resilience skills-building and opportunities to practice wellness throughout. Participants will also be eligible for continuing education credits.
The 2020 summit is a collaborative effort of all seven health sciences colleges at Ohio State (Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Optometry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine), the College of Social Work and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In addition, the National Academy of Medicine’s Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience is a proud co-sponsor of the 2020 Summit.
