The Joys & Stressors Of The Holiday Season: Coping Strategies

December 20, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

If you are a faculty member, staff member or student at the medical center and have a family member with a developmental disability, attend the next meeting of the medical center’s Families and Developmental Disabilities on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at noon in B040 James. Gain insights and support from others who are experiencing similar challenges and get answers to your questions about the services and support that your loved one is receiving. This month’s presentation is “The Joys and Stressors of the Holiday Season: Coping Strategies.” This quarterly hour-long brown-bag program was created by Tom Fish, PhD, LISW, director of Social Work and Family Support Services at Ohio State’s Nisonger Center, and Dana McTigue, PhD, professor of Neuroscience at Ohio State. Meetings are informal and include a brief presentation followed by time for questions and discussion.
