Winter Wellbeing At East Hospital

Join OSU Health Coach Michael and Jodie from EAP for Wellness Wednesday.
- January 22: Resistance Band Demo
Join health coach Michael as we go through a resistance band demonstration. We will talk about how to select a resistance band, learn new exercises, and how to build a strength training program.
- February 26: Mindful Eating
Finding time to take a break and eat lunch ca be hard on busy days. Sometimes we find ourselves with so little time that we stuff our food in our mouths without thinking and that leads to over eating and poor food choices. In this workshop learn about mindful eating and participate in a guided mindful eating exercise.
- March 25: Tipping the Calorie Balance
Your weight is a result of the balance between the calories in from what you eat and drink and the calories out from moving more. During this session, we will talk about ways to tip the balance to help promote weight loss.
- April 22: CBT skills – Thinking errors
Cognitive Behavior Therapy is an evidenced based treatment for many mental health and behavioral conditions. In order to learn how to change your thinking, you first have to learn to evaluate your thinking. Join us for a workshop focused on the fundamentals of CBT and take the first step to evaluate your own thinking habits.
This is a four session series on Wednesdays from 12:30pm to 1:00pm starting on 1/22/2020 and ending on 4/22/2020. You will be automatically enrolled for all four sessions (1/22, 2/26, 3/25 & 4/22) when you register for the first session.
