Events and Challenges

Your Plan for Health begins and ends with you. What you get out of it depends on how much (or how little) you choose to put into it. The good news is that YP4H is built around dozens of individual and group challenges and events, so there’s bound to be one that appeals to you. Plus, when you participate and track your progress online, you can earn incentive points that translate into big savings for you and your family.

Health and Wellness Events

Tips:

  • Get your family involved or find an accountability partner.
  • Keep your plan in front of you!  Post your training plan on the refrigerator, on your bathroom mirror or in your work station.
  • Schedule your training days as an “appointment” on your mobile or desktop calendar.
  • Use the above as suggestions, but feel free to research and find your own 8 week plan based on your current goals.
  • Make sure you have your health care providers' permission before starting any new exercise program.

Regular exercise can help you control your weight, reduce your risk of chronic disease, and strengthen your bones and muscles. But if you haven't exercised for some time and you have health concerns, you may want to talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise routine.
