Incentive Program for Faculty/Staff
In response to COVID-19, the YP4H program has been updated, effective July 1, 2020 for the duration of the calendar year. Please see the updates at yp4h.osu.edu/update.
During the program year (January through December), you have many opportunities to earn points every day, which can quickly accumulate to help you complete up to four incentive levels each quarter. Rewards for those enrolled in a medical plan include premium credit, Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) credits, and PulseCash.
Employees who are eligible for Ohio State benefits but not enrolled in an Ohio State medical plan are eligible to earn PulseCash.
Enrolled faculty or staff can receive $25/month premium credit, or up to $40/month with an enrolled spouse, off of employee medical plan contributions by completing a Personal Health and Well-being Assessment (PHA) In 2020, you do not need a verified Biometric Screening to earn premium credit.
To reduce your cost for health care and receive the full premium credit for 2021, complete the PHA by Monday, Dec. 14, at 11:59 p.m. The PHA will not be available for completion, starting December 15, to prepare for the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday. The PHA should be available again in early January. Below is the program available each quarter in 2020 for those faculty/staff enrolled in an Ohio State medical plan and those who are not enrolled.
You can earn up to $75 HRA credit and $25 pulse cash each quarter. The quarterly program will reset on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.
